Our story
Why We Started
This organization was started to help alleviate the growing guinea pig population in need of homes. Many people buy guinea pigs from pet stores, often without being prepared, or as gifts for others, only to decide they don't want them later on. It is only then they look into guinea pig rescues, creating an endless dead end road for these animals. We believe that education, community, and compassionate rehoming can break that cycle. What we do
How We Help Guinea Pigs and Their People
Adoption Matching
We always have many guinea pigs in need of loving homes with space to run and play. We can match you with adoptables from us, as well as those being surrendered in surrounding areas that may be closer to you.
Public Education
We conduct education for the public on proper guinea pig care and housing — from enclosure size and bedding to diet, enrichment, and the importance of companionship.
Boarding
Need a trusted place for your guinea pigs while you travel? We offer boarding services so your pigs are cared for by people who truly understand their needs.
Grooming
We offer grooming services for guinea pigs, including nail trims and coat care — especially important for long-haired breeds who need regular maintenance.
Health Checks
We provide health checks and accept guinea pigs in need of rehoming. Every animal that comes through us is assessed before placement.
Rehoming Assistance
If you need to rehome your guinea pigs, we can help. We work to find qualified, prepared adopters and can assist with transitions in surrounding areas.
